Tenzu: Permissions system

Greetings spacesheeps :tenzu:!

We have finally tackled the management of fine-grained permissions in Tenzu. :lock:
There will be no more privilege bypasses for your crew members; the UI now reflects their access level, and the central computer will prevent any mischief.
Do the provided permissions look sufficient for your business needs? :eyes:

Logbook no.5 is now in orbit if you want to read about all that we have added to this new release .

Hi again … I’m still here …

Great to read about your pre steps before your first version.

Congratulation.

I want to ask for a previous feature request:
What about OIDC?

will you go this step in the near future?

Kind regards,
Kal

Hello there and thank you!

What about OIDC?

It’s still very much in the pipeline. As soon as we have launched, we will tackle this next. I have just added it explicitly to our public roadmap as I know it is much awaited.

We have already started working on it by doing a PoC using django-allauth; as such you can expect us to support any provider supported by them.
Still thinking about which SSO providers we will configure on our SaaS. Probably Github, Google and Gitlab to start with.

There are many good providers …

I prefer the selfhosted:

  • KeyCloak
  • Zitadel (a lightwight Multitanant IAM Solution)

Greetings. And Thanks, really thanyou, for your work.
